Discovery Education Streaming

Discovery Education Streaming is a video streaming service provided by the district.

Those of us who have been around for a while probably still call it United Streaming.

You can stream over 10,000 full-length videos or select one of 75,000 content-specific video segments, but there is so much more.

Many videos come with ready-to-use lessons, worksheets and quizzes.

You can also find:
  • Songs like this one about the number line;
  • Other audio including speeches, readings and classical music;
  • A sound effects library and an image library (including high-resolution Library of Congress images) to use with multi-media projects;
  • Games;
  • Interactive maps and videos.
And all resources come with citations that can be copied and pasted into any bibliography.

You can build assignments or create your own quizzes. Put students into classes and manage their work through the program.

You will need your campus's passcode to create an account, and students can use the generic campus student account or be set up with an account of their own.  See your technology coordinator or librarian for your campus passcode.
